Raquel Rodriguez Sarmiento, BSc. Podiatry Medicine, UCM / MSc. Sports Podiatry
Qualification & Education
I hold a BSc in Podiatry Medicine and began my career in private practice in Madrid while pursuing my Master's in Sports Podiatry at the Universitat de Barcelona. During my studies, I completed three years of internship at the University Clinic of Podiatry (UCM), where I rotated through departments including biomechanics, diabetic foot care, surgery, and podiatric care. Currently, I work full-time as a podiatrist while also completing a Master's in Research Methodology in Health Science. My passion for this field stems from my background as a professional ballet dancer, which inspired me to pursue a degree in Podiatry Medicine.

I am dedicated to the comprehensive management of diabetic patients, musculoskeletal conditions, and podiatric surgery, with a primary focus on enhancing patient quality of life. My approach always prioritizes the individual needs of my patients in the most empathetic and pleasant manner. Outside of my professional pursuits, I have a deep appreciation for nature, enjoy walking, reading, dancing and cherish spending quality time with my loved ones.
